Mannington Mills held the 8th annual Art is Cool event here on May 25. Students from grades 9-12 took part in the competition, where awards were presented to two winners from each grade level.
“This is really fun and a unique opportunity to go to an art reception. It seems to me that the quality every year gets better and better,” said Keith Campbell, Manningtons chairman of the board.
After the event, students are given the opportunity to donate their works to Mannington Mills’ art auction, which will benefit the Stand on a Better World scholarship fund.
