According to China National Forest Products Industry Association Flooring Committee statistics, Chinese flooring manufacturer sales reach about 364 million m2 in 2009, an increase of 5.9%. Laminate flooring takes about 212 million m2, up 7.1%; solid wood flooring sale makes about 42 million m2, which remains the same as that in the previous year; engineered floor is about 83 million m2, an increase of 6.4%; bamboo flooring reaches about 25 million m2, an increase of 4.2% ; other floors reach about 2.2 million m2, up 22.2%.
