From euwid-wood-products: The German group Cordes has taken over the plywood import activities of Lothringer. The two companies had been in talks to this effect for some weeks; agreement on the terms and conditions was reached during the second half of September. The transaction was carried out in the form of an asset deal, as a part of which Cordes acquired the plywood warehouse stock and retained six of Lothringer’s employees.
