From euwid-wood-products.com: The US particleboard and home furnishings manufacturer Merillat intends to dispose of its US particleboard works in Rapid City/South Dakota. The company had announced as early as July that it would be shutting down production there on September 18, 2009. In mid August, an announcement followed that the particleboard works was after all to remain in operation but under a new owner; the transaction was to have been concluded by mid September 2009.
