From FCW.COM: [Atlanta] Chemique Adhesives is continuing to roll out solvent-free polyurethane adhesives in response to the green movement. Last year, the company introduced Solfre2, a two-component polyurethane adhesive used in the manufacturing industry, and this year, Chemique is introducing Polyped1, a brand new pedestal adhesive for the raised access flooring industry.
Polyped1 is a one-component moisture-curing pedestal adhesive that was specifically formulated for the bonding of metal pedestals to concrete when installing raised flooring systems. Polyped1 forms a bond providing adhesion to metal substrates and concrete sub-floors, and also on inconsistent floors.
“We believe that with the introduction of our latest Polyped product, Chemique can now offer a better alternative for installers of raised access flooring whether they are looking for an efficient and cost effective solution or have concerns with environmental issues," said Eric Burrill, North American operations manager.
