Currently, Affected by many different factors, the total production of solid wood flooring dropped continuously from 45 million m2 in 2007 to about 30 million m2 in 2008. The market share of solid wood flooring kept on fall because of the rise of wood raw materials and the depression of market.
Though the solid wood flooring market was in depression, the engineered flooring and laminate flooring kept on climbing. The relative low prices of laminate flooring will meet the demand for flooring in China’s urbanization.
