Imports and Exports of construction wood products increased in the past years. However, those dropped gradually since in 2007.

According to Customs statistics, the export volume of construction wood products totaled 391,956 ton in 2007, down 30.4% over the same time of 2006; the export value was US$705.37 billion, down 19.78%. The unit export price of Chinese construction wood products was US$1800/ton, up 15.26% over the previous year.

Import volume of construction wood products was about 2220 ton in 2007; the import value was US%3.15 million, which declined by 49.82% and 61.86% respectively. The unit import price was US$1418/ton in 2007, down 24% over the previous year.
