The decline in the dollar and the rise of crude oil prices in the international market caused the jump of chemical raw materials prices. This also further led to the growth of wood adhesives prices continuously, with the growth rate amounting to 10%. As the important material of woodbased panel, the rise of adhesives prices caused the increase of manufacturing cost of woodbased panels. However, prices of woodbased panel did not as rise as people expected. The factory prices of woodbased panels did not jump with the raw materials, and the factory price of MDF was down instead of up.
