A 8.0 magnitude earthquake has struck Sichuan at 14:28 of May 12th 2008, which convulsed the whole nation. The quake has so far killed 69,016 and left 18,830 other missing. Its reported that, a total of 45.55 million people were affected by quake, of whom 15.15 million were relocated according to the office, and about 9,519 aftershocks have been monitored since May 12 when the major quake struck.

The deadly quake touched hundreds of millions of peoples from every walks of life, and its reported that, the donation from wood door industry has already exceeded RMB2.6 million. The main companies participating in the donation are as follows:

According to incomplete statistics, by the May 21st, about 30 of door industry companies have participated in the quake relief activity.
